Lately, severe wildfires swept through Maui, causing widespread destruction. Homes and businesses were ruined, leaving the island devastated. Dedicated teams from national and local authorities are tirelessly assessing the damage and fighting the flames. We're united in offering strong support to the resilient people of Maui.
In the midst of this difficult period, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus by offering substantial support to our fellow brothers and sisters in Maui. Here's how you can partner with us to make a meaningful impact:
Prayer changes things!
Make a commitment with us to pray at 8:08AM & 8:08PM everyday! Set your alarms, and pray with us for these areas:
Peace and comfort for the families that have lost loved ones or experienced injuries from the fires.
Provision and safety for all that have lost homes, businesses or property.
Protection to all the first responders and other agencies giving safety and support.
Provide rain to put out any current or future fires on the Hawaiian islands.
Give hope to those experiencing loss and discouragement.
Give wisdom to all government leaders and those making critical decisions in regards to Hurricane Dora and wildfires across the state.
Renew and restore telephone service (landline or cell phone), water service and electricity to all areas affected.
Expedite federal assistance to help the state recover from the fires in Maui and Hawai'i counties.
May God's hand of protection and restoration be over all our islands.
We are praying for every single person still missing in Maui, that they will be successfully located, confirmed safe and reunited with their loved ones.

Currently, access to Maui is restricted to essential personnel only. Our contacts on the ground have informed us that their immediate priority revolves around ensuring food and shelter for all individuals affected. They have not yet conducted a comprehensive assessment due to the ongoing fires. Once circumstances permit, Inspire Church will mobilize a dedicated team of volunteers to Maui, embarking on the crucial mission of reconstructing homes and offering support wherever it is most needed.
